Who Texts And Drive?
ya, because the driver was probably so focused on texting, that they didnt realize they were going 105 MPH and PLOWED into the truck. theres just no point, turn on ur bluetooth, and call the person ur texting. your not only putting urself at risk, but ur putting INNOCENT others at risk. Not worth it
theres a story to the pic you had? 105 is pretty quick to not notice your hurtling down the road... i know i have an 06 milan and its easy to cruise 80 and not notice. but 100, not on these roads. i dont know how SSC test ran their car at 250+ on these highways around here.
Wow, hasnt this ran its course. No one is going to come to an understanding. The simple fact of the matter is you have some that think they are invincible. There is no changing that mentality until they kill someone. For those of us that dont like the texting, we just have to set back and wait until the law is passed. And oh yeah its coming, I gaurantee it. Hey mods lets shut this one down. It clearly is nothing more than a bashing thread at this point.
I-355 on the south end, about 1:00 AM, you know when the roads were empty.
Had I been drinking that night or texting, it sure would have made a mess out of my truck

however i do agree this thread is pretty much over. i'm fairly sure it hasn't changed anyone's views on texting and driving..... at least hasn't changed mine, but i will say no i do not have the mentality that i am invincible. that is a different subject though.....
There are a bunch of selfish idiots too.
Klitch, that is one of the scariest feelings. My youngest loved to run from the car as soon as she gets out no matter where we were. There were some close calls. Luckily no one was texting or I might have one less child. At 7 she has grown out of it now for the most part.
