Well guys no matter how you slice the turd it still stinks and there is simply no way you are safe when texting and driving it is just that simple. Say what you will you know in the end that it is true.

I have my toy yellow dart gun loaded with red and blue darts and the only time i will use it is if someone while on the phone makes a bone headed move by being distracted and causes me any hardship. I am now locked and loaded ... be aware, be safe or be darted.

Maybe so, but the other states are writing very similar laws.

I agree texting an driving is a major distraction, to most drivers. So are kids. So are radios. Especially radios. If you think about all the ipods that are used going down the road. People inputing info on their GPS units. Women with make-up. People eating food while driving is probably just as bad as texting. I do it a lot, and it's a hell of a lot more difficult for me.

However, apparently I'm the only one who has this. I guess it's a super natural ability called.....peripheral vision. I can have my phone on my steering wheel, steer with my wrists, and still manage to see what's goin' on around me.

Thank you!!! Not trying to offend anyone, but it really is not safe. I turn the radio on (listen to talk radio) and drive. You aren't just driving for yourself either... you have to drive for idiots around you and obstacles like animals, trash barrels ect, ect

speaking of little girls... mine decided to run from me in the parking lot. glad there wasnt someone coming through. she's two.

i understand these peoples fears, i have them myself, yet i still txt on the freeway on the way home from work. theres several wide open spots that are pretty safe considering my only obstacle is a coyote which i wont see anyway. something about desert and a yote makes them blend until you feel the thud.

mig, that actually did a lot of damage to the truck lol
