Im 17 and am going to be a senior. i had a 97 F-250 light duty for about a year which a paid about 50%, grandpa gave me his 94 f-150 which i traded for about 25% and my parents paid the rest. I got my 04 lariat when my mom traded in her expedition for a fusion with zero percent financing at the beginning of my junior year. Since the payments were considerably lower my parents could afford to get me something nicer and since my f250 had 185,000 and the dealer offered them a good deal i got my truck. i dont think that makes me spoiled as i work 50+ hours a week during the summer, have a part time lawn business, and work weekends on the farm i live on. I love my truck and i dont what u call abuse it but i do use it. i pull trailers at least 2-3 times a week some up to about 9,000 lbs. During hunting season it sees regular 4wd drive time, but i thats the reason i bought a ford truck.

ps. new toyota is the fugliest truck ive ever seen

See 2003 - 2007 F250. Not very rare at all.

Dammit, Ryan, you beat me to it.

Don't worry, Bama, some people just don't pay attention.

I am 17 and going to be a Senior. I had a 93 explorer bought it for $100 got the transmission fixed. My mom told me she took it to get the window motor fixed. Came home after school on my birthday and she got me this. I work to pay for all my mods. I plan to get new rims, tires and a lift kit.

when i turned 16 i got my grandfathers old '89 blazer. I bought it from him for a dollar just to hint to you what kinda shape it was in. After my 17th bday the tranny went out and i got my ford. I had to pay half the down payment(1500) and half the payment each month along with gas.

My truck is inn the shop now gettin my lift rims and tires put on...all of which i paid for..a lil' over 1500

My first car was a 92 Green Ford Taurus Station Wagon. Wrecked it 3 months later. Brakes didnt work well... Junior year my mom bought me a 2004 Heritage F150. Now i am looking at a 2007 Black FX2 S/Cab. Paying half of the truck payments. I graduated 2006.

I don't know how kids can say "they worked their buts off" so I am gonna tell you my story and tell me if you work your but off.

I am 20 years and a university student. I bought and paid for my truck and have not gotten 1 cent from my parents in a long time. I pay for my own schooling, live on my own, and have ZERO debt including student loans. In the summers I have been working the oil rigs working 12 hours a day 7 days a week, thats 84 hours per week of work not including the 1/2 hour drive to and from my hotel room which i have to stay in. You may or may not know how hard the work is but many times in my 12 hour shifts I only have enough time to eat 1 sandwich and that is a maybe. Lately it has been hovering around the 100-106 degree mark and the humidex is about 125. I also must wear fire retardent coveralls, hard hat, rubber gloves, and rubber boots. At the end of my shift I hurt every where. Thank god I will be done in a month here............. I'm bringing in over $500 a day, $511 to be exact, about $10k a month so that helps out ALOT lol. I also drive the ever living **** out of my truck. I feel that if I bought it, I pay its bills and can afford to fix it then I will treat it how ever the hell I want
