Dude, are you still in high school? take/meet her for ice cream?

You already mentioned friends with benefits. Take her to the park, do your thing and wait for the ice cream truck to come to you.

They aren't necessarily the best looking girls in the world, but I figured it would make for a pretty cool sig... considering my username.

Well Ian, it depends on where you live. I see you live in Alabama, which I know nothing about and maybe Jeep Wranglers are OK there. I live in Lost Angeles where the Jeep Wrangler is viewed in a completely different light. I won't go into detail because the last time I did, mentioning how Wranglers and the men who drive them are viewed from a Lost Angeles perspective, Wrangler owners who post on this site became quite upset, offended, and threatened my life. That said, if Wranglers and their drivers are perceived in such a way as to not have a stigma attached, I say go for it if that's what you want. Keep in mind though, unless you've driven one it may not be what you expect. Kobi is actually partial to the Rubicon, in black, with every option available. One thing that surprises Kobi though is that it only comes with a 6 and not an 8. And yet, even with the 6, it gets poor gas mileage. Kobi is also tall, and if you are too, go sit in one. Leg room is very limited and Kobi didn't fit. If you are of average height you'll be OK, if you are tall you may not like it.

So, if you are not dissuaded by the opinions of others about what your sexual preference is, based only on what you drive (again, this may only be a Los Angeles phenomenon), then go for it.

Remember . . . black Rubicon.

I will deal with the last question first. Kobi™ is surprised that she would allow you (a stranger) to pick you up. Maybe it's a Los Angeles thing (a lot of LA takes on things today) but I don't know of any women who would allow a stranger to pick them up on the first "date" (or whatever you want to think of this as). And this works both ways, in other words not picking her up is good for you too. Imagine for a moment that she's obnoxious, or that your get together is just not what you expected and you don't want to continue, or it's just so uncomfortable you gotta bolt . . . having to take her home just adds to the misery. With both of you driving wherever it is you meet , it allows either of you to go for whatever reason. So . . . meet her there.

As for ice cream . . . . well, that could be good or bad. She may see it as juvenile and that is not an impression you want to leave. Then again, she may see it as cute. Then again, it could be pretty bad if she is lactose intolerant, and damn . . . can you imagine if she were lactose intolerant AND you had to drive her home?!?!?! It would be embarrassing enough for her farting in front of you non-stop and even worse for you . . . you ever get a nose-full of a fart from someone who is lactose intolerant? It can take the paint off walls my friend!!!! So, for the safety of all involved and to preserve the dignity of your lady friend, it's probably best to avoid the ice cream thing.

A walk thru the park??!!?? No, boring. Look, a first meeting is best done over coffee. Don't you have a CB&TL, or Peets, or a Starbucks near you that you two can meet at? Conversation over coffee is the way to go (or coffee and pie, even better . . . as long as you don't have deplorable manners and eat with your mouth open or worse, try to talk with your mouth full).

Yes, that is what Kobi suggests. A nice conversation over coffee. From this you will learn plenty (if you keep you eyes and ears open) and you also might want to read my post from earlier today about what to do (Listen, don't talk about yourself, etc.)

Whatever you do, good luck.

K

Not at all. Kobi recognizes that not everyone likes what he likes or sees things the way he does. It's all good.

Have a good time.

I dunno, Kobi does have a tendency to disappear at times, I'm sure he's fine.
