Spectacular!!!

Now as far as trying a kool-ickle, doesnt sound great, but does spark my interest. I have a 1/2 empty jar in the fridge I may make some to try. As the old saying goes, I won't knock it till I try it.

During typing this I thought of another item that might make for an intersting combined taste sensation along the same lines..... I'm off to the store to empty thier shelf of pickles!!!
Look what I have created! hollered PSS-Mag.

It wasn't until my mid 30s or so that I did not appreciate a good dill pickle. Until then I was never fond of them and felt as you do. SO I can understand your reasoning behind this question, however, I must inform you, that to ask such a question demonstrates that you have not had a GOOD dill pickle.

There are not many places that offer them, but there are a handful of delis that do. (and even then it's rather hit or miss).

So, any time you're in a good deli (there are not many of those either), take a bite of one of the dells that comes with your sandwich. One of these times you're gonna get a real gem . . . then you will understand.

By the way, a pickle is always best AFTER a great sandwich. Have a really good pastrami with mustard, and afterward, take a bite of a dill, and wow . . . just great!

Have no fear my friend, when you get here, you will find that every town has atleast one good deli. Alot of the small locally owned gas staions on the highways outside of towns have big jars of fresh home grown pickles, likely the biggest ones you have ever seen. The snap of the first bite alone is like an explosion in your mouth, then so smooth your teeth glide through them as they rest on your taste buds with such power and presence that you dont want to swallow yet you anticipate the juicy snap of the next bite.

PS, if your lucky enough to find and make friends with an old farmer that still jars his own food and get a good batch of home made, home grown sweet pickles.

If not I can tell you where several amish stores are and you can buy some of thiers also tasty but not free.

First, my purchasing is TOTALLY different. Duh.

Second, that is never out of bounds...

Dude I thought you were hanging in an apartment and didn;t want to distrub your neighbors or sometihing. I was wondering why anyone would buy headphones. And your buying that for conmpressed digital audio signal?????

bwahahahahahaha

You've got waaay to much money and time on your hands.
They are for listening to my 'pod at night. I demand top notch audio fidelity everywhere else, why not as I nod off?

I would put my iPod setup against your system, and even Kobi's maggies and new McIntosh with the same song (from whatever source you wish) for reproductive accuracy. If you told me a month ago I'd be blowing this amount of cash on headphones 'n stuff for my iPod I'd laughed too. One listen and you'll be busting out the Mastercard. Either that or you don't really appreciate hifi sound.

I wath tv for nod off time, if I was going to listen to music I'd power up the scorpions in 2D at low power.

I definatly appreciate all good audio. I also really appreciate high speed cars, but see me running out and buying a Bugatti Veyron anytime soon.
Ohh wait, it's lottery night, so you might!!!!

Seriously dude. While cans cannot recreate the space and staging like a good 2-channel setup or provide the deep bass.... they make up for with the stunning accuracy that I have not heard.... ever, on any setup. It's crazy. You'll see.

this thread needs to get back on track.

ceiling fans aside, how is this for a question.

kobi,

been awhile, maybe you can help me out.

i have a huge fear. i have had this fear since childhood & i want it to go away.

i have a fear of being dead.

the fear is not of dying, or how it will happen (that does not concern me). i have no afterlife that i believe in (nor do i want one supplied on the premise of 'faith' or 'hope'.)

how can i come to terms with not being here, when the sun will still be rising, the birds will still be singing, & the kids will still be playing ball in the park (i have a park that borders my yard, and i can hear them playing ball on the weekends), but i wont be here to witness or enjoy any of it.

any thoughts???

Speaking of that, will you be in town around June 15th give or take a few days? I'm thinking about flying out for a cousin's wedding.

Anywho, I'm drunk, jaded, and feel as if my friends take pity on me for being the last single man standing. Or maybe they are jealous... I can't tell. No question here, just the liquor talking... wait... except for the june question... that's for real.

Kobi,

Why must people spell incorrectly?

Thanks,
Stealth.
