I'm not sure I have new tips on it, clamps and polished it up nice. If I sold it I'd ask for than I paid since I have more $$ into and and time. I think the muffler is damaged tho. I get a rattle sound at certain rpms after I installed it

I see you are going with Mandrel bends. Thats awesome. You will love it. Makes for a very efficient system and no extra noises that shouldn't be there. You will love this system once you get it done. I'm sure it will sound great. I'm thrilled with my my mandrel bent side exits too. You made a wise choice with the Borla muffler as well. Look forward to the results.

TruckGuy24, I know you have heard my truck and Captain awesome's that he traded for the raptor. I cant wait to hear yours. I dont think you will have any drone. I wanted to do a side exit at first, but these tips get extremely Hot so I was concerned some about that. My pipe is factory 2.5 inch to stinger and factory 3 inch after the stinger. This muffler sounds amazing at wide open throttle, like none other Ive heard. You will love it!

Thanks bud! I'm really looking forward to it! I have a few issues with my truck that I think I want to get done first so since I passed inspection I'm gonna have to push it back.

My steering rack has gone south and I don't want to put my Roush wheels back on until it's fixed cause it will be even worse, I hear what sounds like a bad idler pulley and possibly tensioner, and yet another bad left front caliper/rotor. 3rd time on that damn one... less than 12k since it was changed last

Dude why does your steering rack keep going bad?

I don't understand bro, take it else where maybe they can find the real issue?

I never had it replaced but the whole front end I'd new and there's play coming from the spline that enters it.

So small update

I'm still saving for this as I've had a lot of financial roadblocks for this whole project. I'm still paying off school for the past semester and this fall so once that is paid I should be looking around end of Novemeber to tackle this. I have talked to two shops and my advice to anyone who is as big of an exhaust guru like me, to strongly consider a hot rod shop as they guys typically stress detail. I found a shop one state over that specializes in mandrel bending and I called him yesterday. He suggested 409 vs 304 SS since my truck is being retired from DD duties in a few months. He said the price difference is a lot of justify it so I'm going to take his word and just high temp coat it for added protection.

I figured I'd post some pics of his work I found on various forums. This guy does incredible work. He's pricey but I'm so picky with exhausts and I hope to have a company of my own down the road.

G8 Forum post about this, happened last week apparantly link

I think I'm going to go through him. He had no issue with me brining my own stuff and agreed on changing all O2's since they need to be removed anyways. Just a few more months of waiting!

Very nice work he does in deed. Shoot me the zipcode of his location via text, might have to make a trip for some good exhaust work whenever I go the Borla route.
