Came across your mod thread. Great looking truck!

I just got a 2013 FX4 SCREW with OEM flares and running boards - like yours. What mud-flaps are your running? I'd like to go weathertech but they indicate they are not compatible with the running boards so close the front wheel well. Thoughts? Many Thanks and Merry Christmas. Tom

Thanks so much Darren, appreciate it! I really like your truck too, we have very similar taste. I was struggling with the same thing, have done 35's with a 2.5" level plus 3" body lift on my previous truck and fit in the garage, so was nervous about the full 6". My garage door is 84" and I clear by about 1-2" with the 6" and 35's. I can get some exact measurements for you because I know this is tough (maybe to the bottom of the side view mirror?). I also frequent the car wash quite often which has a 7' clearance, so I'm good there too. I was also careful about the rear lift, I think an add a leaf, or any rake, might cause me trouble. So I'm about dead level with worn leaf springs, 5.5 blocks, and road master active suspension. Any dimensions/info you need, let me know!

Going to have to give it a try! I should be alright applying it this time of year long as it sits in the heated garage for a few days right?

Whats up Darren I have a question on tint? I saw on forums youve had good luck with the 3m? How is it, does it leave the windows looking blue from the inside or is it more like the factory privacy glass that the 150's come with?

Hey Darren. I have to say your truck was an inspiration to how I wanted mine to look. Haven't talked to you for awhile, but finally got some more mods done recently. When you have a moment, please check out my photos. Thank you again for the exhaust advice, I did go with Borla SI/DO - 5" RBP tips. Debating on doing the "bolt-on" style fender flares. Still only have the Rancho strut assembly 2" lift in the front. The guys at the local shop want me to lift in 6"..... of course..... Hope you're doing well. - Jamie

I'm looking at the Eastwood gloss cans, which did you use to match stock? The semi gloss or full?

I'm using a gloss clear coat from automotivetouchup.com, its where I got my PTM paint. I've seen a few videos of them using it, it gives a nice gloss shine after its been polished. What's best to polish it with?
