I thought if I posted a picture of my truck pulling a stripmine dragline then I would get special express service like you.

Oh, by the way, you can"t see my truck because it is on the other side of the dragline PULLING IT UP THE HILL!

 

Are they back just to put the orginal tune back in?

 

Apparently fixing some of the original problems also. Problems with reading and writing between unit's EPROM and the PCM have been corrected.

 

got mine back this morning too. you put it on your truck and it writes the stock program back on, then when it says PROGRAMMING COMPLETE! you unplug it and call or email rob, he will then give you directions about properly updating it and entering a code.

mine works fine right now, i just have the shift points set wrong so i bounce off the rev limiter shifting from 1-2 on WOT . . the other cars on the streets have been changing lanes away from me when they hear that bounce lol

 

When did all of you send your units off? I sent mine off Tuesday and it got to Egde yesterday. I hope I get it back sometime early next week.

I sent a few emails to Rob during testing. I was unable to have the Edge unit reconized by the Edge Evolution Lightning Interface. Rob stated the unit needed to be returned and emailed a return label.

dbdragracing youll have to speak with rob on that, send him an email . . there is for sure an error on the EPROM when it was initially flashed. even if yours works and updates fine right now you should consider sending it back

 

I didn't know how slow my truck was until I re-installed my original tune. I had really gotten used to level 3. I tried to do a burnout, and it wouldn't. I re-installed level 3 when I updated my edge, now it will burn em' down again!

 

I was not like the rest of you guys, I got my unit on friday, installed on saturday. Install was very easy I updated it with the lighting software on friday no problems at all. The adjustable PIDs are great. Man I was checking the mass air temp and it was hot like 104 degrees, hopefully when I put my Frame intake back on Ill notice a little bit cooler air. Just have it set at stage two right now, as soon as I empty the tank Ill refill with 97oct and try out stage 3. I have changed the screen color and push all the buttons while driving no problems with the unit turning off. I did have one trouble code it was the same one everone else got the P1000(is that something I should be worried about?). I did try to find the tire size adjustment but could not find the parameter. It said the tunner should have prompted me for a custom tune and didnt. Does anyone know if we have that parameter available yet?
So far I am extremely happy with the tunner and definetly have to give it way up.

 

P1000 is a code that everybody gets, nothing is wrong. You can clear it.
We don't get the custom options until the bugs have been worked out. Give it time.

 

I have emailed Rob a couple of times wondering if he was waiting to see if the Evo's were fixed to send mine. I sent him my info on the computer about a week after he sent an email wanting that info (gave him the info on 6/20). So I sent the info and got no response. Sent two other message and nothing, no call or email. I know he has been busy with this and all, but I am feeling a little forgotten.

 

Sorry, your IAT will go up with an open element filter installed. The coolest IATs I have seen are with the stock air box.
