Hey Guys,
We are looking for Alpha/Beta testers for the 97-03 F-150/expedition vehicles.
We are redesigning the Evolution (EEF2000) to be similiar to the 04-06 Evolution (EEF2400), and all Alpha/Beta testers will recieve a unit at a discounted price in exchange for feedback on how the unit works.
We are looking for 20 Alpha Testers, and 20 Beta testers. Please email me if you are interested. It will be helpful if you include in your email the following info:
1- Year and model of Vehicle
2- Mileage
3- Transmission type
4- Engine size (4.6/5.4)
5- Any special qualifications
6- Name and contact info. (Phone #, email, IM etc.)
Thanks,
Rob

I will also be a beta or alpha tester. I will email my contact info tomorrow or email me at vgajewski@hershahotels.com
I've emailed them, but haven't heard back yet...has anyone else heard back yet? And what's the difference between an alpha tester and a beta tester?

I expect that you would get lots of hand holding with 'alpha' test and with beta group you will be more or less trying to break it or give end user usability opinions.. You will have the most input to the development cycle in the Alpha group and roll into the beta test group by default. I would assume that the 'alpha' group will probably the most interesting. I have done a beta test for a motorcyle product and found that it was interesting.. In my case I believe that some of my comments actually caused a redesign because final production was delayed about 6 months (missing a season) and the new design incorporated a lot of my suggestions.

Hi I was wondering if I could do this too. I live in Canada and well wouldnt be able to come to the shop. I really would like one of these and have a 2001 F-150 4.6. Anyway I'll email you all my info and see what you say thanks.
FordZilla, did he give you a 100% answer that you were selected? All he sent me was just the basic information about what the testing will involve. Does this mean I was selected as well? I sure hope I get to do this. I have been wanting to tune my truck for a while, but this is the first time I have been able to afford it.
This is what he sent me so I assume I'm on the list once everything is ready.
Thanks for your interest! We are offering the Evolutions at a
discounted price of $$$ (Retail will be $$$$) with a $$$ rebate once we
receive feedback on how the product is working. We are still early in
development, and we will be looking for a group of Alpha Testers for the
first run, followed by a group of Beta testers. Beta testing would
involve running the product, and describing your likes, dislikes,
suggested improvements, and reporting anything unusual that may occur
while running the unit on your vehicle. If this is something that
interests you, let me know, and I will put you on the list and contact
you when we are ready to send the units out.
Thanks,
Rob
