Update:

Not much of one really...
I got a call yesterday and she's done, so I'm supposed to be picking her up tomorrow! ...I haven't been this excited since I got her!

I wasn't planning on posting this until tomorrow, but I saw this today and I wanted to share so I figure why not post now...



This was parked outside of my work this morning. The guy who drives it is in a wheelchair. I talked to him for a minute and (if I understand it right)he presses a button and the top opens and the crane brings his chair to the drivers door. How freakin' cool is that?

hey man i was wondering if u ever talk to ford about ur airbags not deploying.the reason i ask is because i have pretty much the exact same truck and was in a accident this morning and they did not deploy so im wondering if its a defect or what because it was a hard collision.

 

No not yet...
I've been playing phone tag with them since they called me yesterday.
I'll be picking her up tomorrow, so hopefully I'll be able to ask then.
This is something that I think all of us need to know.

 

ya man seriously... Cause I was not in a little finder benber it was pretty bad. The emergency workers were wondering y they did not deploy.. I am thinkin about contacting ford and ask tgem... If u get any info let me no.

Updates, Updates, Updates!!!

Okay, so I'm really, really excited!
I ended up getting her back last night.
Also talk about timing, but I got a box from Dominic when I got home last night! I'll let the pictures talk for themselves, and hopefully I can start adding the boat loads of parts I've acquired over the last couple weeks...












And Props to Dad's Truck that I've been driving while mine's been away.
Honestly, as excited as I am to get mine back, I'm kind of attached to her at this point. Pics for Clicks:

I don't have the switch yet, so they aren't hooked up; but this beats having two holes in the bumper.

so, I've been starting to put on some stuff I've had laying around (waiting on getting the truck back).

And then I found this front end cover that I'd ordered awhile ago. I wasn't sure if I really wanted it; but one of our distributors went out of business, so it was really, really cheap.

Good to hear it's back. Keep the bra for trips. Helps against chips.

 

everything looks good but the bra ONLY use it for long trips, and you need some new mirrors check out the SS Mirrors someone is selling in the classifieds

That bra will serve a purpose. I wish I had one for my truck. I've got a chip on my hood way up there by where your bra ends.

 

I suppose your right. I just don't like how it fits around the grille. It covers up the top half of the grille. I'll play with it more later - it's raining outside.

You guys are going to flame me for this; but I bought I set of mirrors off of Craigslist. They are from a 1998 Acura Integra GSR. It's missing the driver's side glass; but for $30 I can't complain. I'm thinking about trying to mold them in place - we'll see. If it doesn't work, I have so little invested I'm not too worried about it.

Maybe, that is creative I must say, but it would either look neat or like crap. I say try it, as you say, not much invested.
