Some Recent Updates I thought I'd share!

it's funny you say that.
I did mention that, but seeing how awesome they've been I didn't want to **** them off. He said if they had extra time he knock em out for me. So If they do awesome, if not I still have overlays to put in!
Updates:
Sorry about the wait, I've had some other pressing issues that I had to take care of. Anyway, I went by to see her this morning. Apparently she'll be ready on Friday.
Here's the pics (you know I was ready to apologize on them being from my phone, but these are from my new phone - I don't think they are half bad. but anyway...)

and a picture of the bed-less '09 next to me:

That's al for now, hopefully next time will show more..

I wonder how this would look on a white f150?!?!
Everything looks to be coming along on your truck, besides the fender bender. But at least you got an upgrade bumper in the process!
Funny story really...
The first week after I got her, I wanted to shave the badges. Without think I assumed they were like the badges on the Jetta, it which are only connected by tape - leaving a smooth surface underneath. Being a F150 n00b, I didn't know about the hole and yeah...
so, while it would be easy to fix, it's a reminder for me to get the Saleen tailgate bit...
i'm weird, i know...
i was thinking the same thing :o oh well maybe in the future right op?
but yes I want to shave them.
someday i want to have shaved badges, door handles, antenna, tail gate handle, gas cap...
one day she'll be smooth and low.

i think for now i'm just gonna use the inlays i have.
i'm super tight on money right now, and what i do have is gonna be used to buy fog lights!
yeah to bad.. considering they already did body work on the fender it wouldn't have taken much at all to simply fill in the holes...
donno why they have to have holes.. they should only be 3m.. ah well

i think that i remember somebody said it was for the factory to line up the badges or something..
i'm not quite sure.
Not really much of an update, but anyway...
So I called the body shop yesterday so see how things were coming along. The guy told me something that I haven't heard yet, and to say the least it surprised me. He said that the computer thought that a seat belt wasn't on, so that's why the air bags didn't blow - even though (according to him) they should have. Now, I was wearing my seat belt; I always have, they've saved my life at least 3 times now. So he told me that it was the passenger that wasn't wearing their seatbelt.
I didn't have a passenger in the truck.
I told him that, and he asked me if I had anything in the seat.
Yeah, I did my messenger bag with my laptop.
He said that sensor didn't go off because it sensed that.
Now, I can understand 10 - 20 lbs setting off. That would be an infant.
But not 5. I mean a child safety seat weighs more than that.
Every college kid I know has their backpack in the seat, and every women I know puts their purse there. Anybody else see a flaw in the design here?
I love my truck don't get me wrong, I just don't understand this.

then why do GM and Chrysler only use stick ons? that's one of the things i like about the GMs you can debadge them without worrying about holes
thats wierd that NONE of the airbags will go off if it senses that one "passenger" isnt wearing a seatbelt
i know my moms toyota avalon has this little like that says "Passenger airbag on" that lights up when you sit in the seat, i always try to fool it but the things pretty smart lol
