I understand completely, do it right the first time and be done with it. lol i'm glad my old 2004 had them stock. I just switched sides to a 2008 gmc and I made sure i found one with nearly every PTM so I wouldn't have to do it myself.

That is my next plan, get a FX4 Lux or a nice Lariat in 2011+ form. Already paint matched and just needing wheels/tires, tint, and exhaust!

-Magnaflow #10778 Y pipe
-3" single intermediate pipe unbent in T-409
-Magnaflow #14419 Magnapack.
-Magnaflow #10778 Y pipe for tail pipes
-Mandrel bent T-409 2.5" tailpipes 45'd
-Magnaflow #35117 tips ( 4"x18" Rolled Edge )

Sounds great, surprisingly loud. I know it is a small muffler but I didn't expect the volume it puts out with stock cats. It rumbles real nice inside. Not over bearing, just right ( imo ). I can hear it over my M/Ts easily, even at 70mph. It wasn't as loud inside my 2004 with the same M/Ts and true dual Bullets. Overall I am happy so far. Remote starts and cold starts are a lot more fun now! I will get videos soon!

Next on the list are some more performance goodies, #93136 hi-flow cats and some OBX or Pacesetter Ceramic LT headers. If the exhaust is way to loud for me at that point I will be having a Borla XR-1 installed in-place of the Magnapack.

Awesome, thats a similar setup I decided to go with but high flows also and just keeping one pipe instead of duals! Glad to hear it sounds good.

I remember awhile back you were in need of a new muffler, are you still running the Flow 40 as your sig indicates?

told yah it was loud. Thats why i want to tone it down a bit, sometimes the commutes are a bit hard on my ears

i like what you did, but i wish the tips were angled a bit down at the end, and tucked up at the inside, just like your old truck

Glad you like it!!

Very nice. Looking forward to the video. For an exhaust expert like yourself I was surprised to see you with stock exhaust for a year.

Thanks! Its still in progress though, hopefully my plans will enhance it more.

As for hearing it, hop on youtube & you will find that almost every F150 runs this setup, if not single, then true dualed . It used to be a planned secret of mine, then about 5 people on here did it and its not so secretive anymore.

Took a couple nice-ish pics I thought I would share. Hoping to get back to putting money in the truck after the upcoming holiday!

And yes, that is in front of a cemetery. It was father's day and I went to check in on my late father, r.i.p.
