Damn you Scott! I thought I was the only one who had thought of that!! I see so many when I am at work driving the campus bus and I've been wondering about it for the past year I keep seeing them and wanted to try a test fit if I ever got an HD grille.

Plus for Darren since he has an 06-08 front bumper with the smaller opening, it would probably look right at home with just one bar. Yours looks fine with one, but two wouldn't hurt.

Yeah I literally cut the bottom off, drilled four holes that match the OEM honeycomb inserts location and bolted it right on. Took maybe 45 minutes.

I think two would be better but like I said this was such an easy fix.

I looked at hacking up the rest of the Explorer grille to get a two bar set up but fabricating from plastic just really isn't my area of expertise.

Then again im partial to those wheels, since i think its a newer version of my wheels in 6 spoke
Man has a point! Then again I am all for ditching chrome everything except rims, something about chrome rims and me.

Deal! Yet I will have one of my investors call you shortly for all your info, shipping, social, credit card numbers, don't worry about his heavy accent or anything.

Photo update.

High gasoline prices has slowed the modding down big time, but here are some nice pics from a fresh wash & hyperdressing!

I thought I was over the blacked out black truck thing, but I'm really diggin this. That grille really makes it all come together and looks pretty mean as well. Hopefully that top secret exhaust sounds as mean as that truck is lookin!

Awesome transformation!

Now a question since you went from a Supercab to a 4 door...Does the ride quality seem better? Like the body feels stiffer and less rattles around doors etc?
