I agree, black gives you the opportunity to do it. I think it will be refreshing to see this. Chrome is not going out in style and never will. This black on black crap gets old and I just don't care for it. The chrome is going to look perfect on your truck.

alright, i hate to keep copying your truck, but ive got to PTM my door handle bezels. that looks awesome. i think i may try my idea of buying the ABS Carbon Fiber stick on covers and having them scuffed and painted black though. id like to PTM my wiper cowl too.

I think the mirrors would look better completely PTM, no chrome. Josiah did it on a black truck:

I love that grille and would kill for it on my truck, but can not justify the price for something that is pure aesthetics.

Haha sweet. Can't wait to see! I considered my wiper cowl but mine sees quite a bit of abusive ice in the winter so I will stick to dressing the cowl in hyper dressing. The B panels need replaced with gloss ones for sure though!

Looks good, as Josia's truck always did! So you think that the entire PTM mirror with the chrome pull handles and '09+ style badges ( when I get them ) will look good? I still think the '09+ mirror bodies with chrome caps would fit it quite well, options options, too many possibilities! Back to Photoshop I go!

Yeah man I still try to ignore the selfish guilt of ordering a $578 piece of plastic, though it does feel a good bit stronger than the original chrome pkg grill does, it feels stronger as it obviously looks stronger in the bar quality, and the brand new surround is solid against the hood. The original felt a little wobbly due to poor strength.

More pics!

Loving the grill and tailgate emblems Brent! The only problem is they remind me how much badly the truck is calling for some '09+ badges

Truck needs a few more appearance enhancers aside of the bumpers & mirrors. I'm going to get an LED brake light and have Brent smoke it if he would, '09 style badges, gloss B pillars, and then some other standard desires such as full LEDs, level/lift, and my exhaust system. Step by step its coming together!

Looks good! You need to "Reverse" the F150 emblem now. Make the chrome black and the black chrome.

I have a retrosolutions 35w in my fogs ( pic here ) they look great, and being that they are capped they don't glare that badly in the tiny useless round fog housing. I won't run them in the headlamps until a retrofit is performed.

I actually considered the Harley valance a little, but I still don't know, hmm.. If not the chrome hooks could add a nice little touch though!

i found my reciept the other day from tasca when i bought mines, $388.00, kinda like my selfishness on a piece of plastic similiar to what happened to you with the hd grille

would be cool though, a cross between a mark lt/ harley truck with aggressive tires and mild lift, kinda like what ford would done if they stuck through making a off road harley
