Retrofit will be further down the road, I want to get my exterior appearance work finished, then exhaust, then some well due maintenance ( spark plugs, fuel module, frame re-paint, detail.. all that jazz. Retrofits are on my wish list though!

295/60/20 measures out to be a 34.5x12" tire, I believe that will be my next tire size for some Trail Grapplers.

As for the 35's on a 4x4. I've read tons of threads regarding this and never seen this. Would you happen to have any links. Thanks. Gonna do a few searches now.
here ya go. this is exactly what im doing to mine. same leveling kit, same exact tires. different wheels but same +18mm offset and 5.71 backspacing.
after a lot of searching i did over about a month, this was the best thread for this. even has pics of trimming done. (which i did yesterday with a mini hacksaw in about 5 minutes)

here is a link to the page with the pics, go to page 1, he explains everything. great review.

https://www.f150online.com/forums/20...ew-pics-5.html

FYI - most tires are not the actual size stated. my 35s actually measure 34.7". to have a true 35 inch tire, you would probably have to find a 36"

for me, these toyos are enough. they are huge! the center of the centercap of my stock wheels is 14.5" high off the ground. the center the center cap of these toyo 35s is 17.5" so basically, i am about to give my truck a 3 inch lift. along with the spacer, thats a total of 5.5 inches in the front and 3 inches in the back. as you can see from the pics of Grubrunners truck in that thread, these tires dont squish much either. this is what i wanted. a higher truck without a big lift. tired of bottoming out on realitively small dropoffs when i go duck hunting at the pond. tired of nearly getting stuck in the mud with the pos stock tires too. this should help, and as a side benefit, look bada$$.

also, i called rimzone this morning, new lugs on their way.

the downfall with the Hd valance is loss of tow hooks, but snap of reality for me is i don't think i'll need em anytime soon, dented my bumper up good last year and decided to jump on it. payed retail for it and i ain't looking back

Had to open the box again and have a teaser look.

This is going to be a long couple of weeks wait... Meeting up with 2008XL soon for a rear bumper swap and then i'm able to schedule a painting date, then strip my truck of its mirrors, and tailgate/door handles, and the front and rear bumpers, AND, grill surround. This isn't going to be super cheap but I hope that my paint work discount with the body shop manager is still in tact!

Not quite all of it. Keeping the door handles chromed, just getting the textured buckets PTM ( Mark LT/Platinum style ), and keeping chrome badges, but going for '09+ style. Going to buy some of Brent's ( lifted5.4 )'s black emblems with the chromed Ford fonts afterwards also. I'm basically just trying to, lighten up the chrome a little. The chrome pkg trim is nice, but imo, not so much for a black truck. Red and silver and other light colors, maybe dark blue, but yeah I just want to darken it out some for the nice mysterious & tough look, slightly mimicking the Harley Davidson look.

thats gonna look good. i have thought about changing out my buckets for smooth black ones. my textured plastic is faded. unless you get the actual Mark LT ones, the only aftermarket ones i have found are either chrome or carbon fiber.

Well Im not replacing the handle buckets, im going to sand them to a smooth surface and have them painted, masking off the chrome grab handles. It works, proved ut with my old truck, and its economical.

Your killin me Darren

That grill is gorgeous and cant wait till I find one.
I passed on the Saleen grill but still might get the unpainted surround so I dont have to try and get all the chrome off.

Cant wait to see that on your truck!
