I'm surprised it took you this long . Yes, they are a 35w 6000k kit from retrosolutions in my small fog lamp housings. The bulbs are also 'capped' and the assemblies are aimed down. I have yet to be flashed and drove past my truck ( g/f driving it while I drove her Acura ) and it barely glared anymore than the headlamps did. I will fix it in the future, but first will be a headlamp retrofit. I will in no way, ruin an on-coming persons vision and put their safety at risk.

Fo sho. Just don't use them in the rain, the glare off the wet road and wet-windshield is where its really bad for oncoming people.

Talking to a friend about how anxious I am to get all this done, he suggested I take half of the parts in Monday to get done. I don't know why I didn't think of that already. I'll call ahead and ask and take my door handles off and take those, the grill surround, and my primed 06/08 front bumper in and get half of the stuff done. Then I will only need to get the rear bumper done after I receive it, and the mirrors when I get a doner set.

^^ the shop i used to get my ptm stuff done told me its cheaper for them to do a batch of everything vs. doing pieces seperately, due to the prep of the primer (2K mixing) the paint code has to be mixed, and the overall finish will be the same throughout since it'll be one guy working on all the pieces. But thats just what i was told. you should still call tho and see what advice they give yah

Whats going to happen with the steps man? I wouldn't leave them chrome or on if ther bumpers are coming off and since your wheels are black.

True, good point.

I'm not quite sure yet, would like a set of black FX4 4" bars but still not sure. I do want step bars, I won't run without a set in fear of my seats getting deformed.

I'm not so sure of their looks on stock/leveled heights, mostly imo they look good on lifted trucks. I like their sleek low-profiile took though!

I ordered emblems from Brent ( Lifted5.4Lariat ) and got them in, installed the tailgate one yesterday, and attached the grill one to my Harley Davidson grill. More pics & specs here!.

I also took parts in to get painted this past Thursday, expecting to receive them back Monday the 19th. These parts consist of the HD primed grill surround, the primed '06/'08 bumper, and my chrome pkg door handles. I sanded the texture from the buckets with a series of numerous grits I had available, and got them as smooth as I could by hand. The chrome pull handles will be masked off.

I must say, that keypad handle was a MF! to get out, the routing of that cable is something! Removing it without breaking the clip was a fun game also, I used my heat gun to warm it up some to make it more ply able for a few seconds, worked well with a flat head driver.

Stay tuned!
