Not here to promote anything but im sayin if u need the NAV you have no access...and yes Nav Tv is overpriced so I guess ill just stick with OEM

Does the Nav TV unit have aux. video outputs to support additional monitors? I guess what I will need to do is pause the movie, disable the lockpick, check the nav, enable the lockpick, hit play. Kinda a hassle but I really did not expect to use Nav while watching a movie since I don't plan to have additional monitors. In reality I am just getting the lockpick to add a backup cam as I did not get that as an original option and from what I can tell the Nav TV unit does not support adding a cam.

No idea if it has but must...u would have to call and ask...mine already comes with backup camera so cant help u there...but the price is crazy and it takes 2weeks for delivery

P.S. I was wondering can u even use the navigation while watching a movie ahvent even tried that...causeif u are in motion movie display is off anyways...and for the rear i would find it weird that they block it off.

So there's no way to watch a DVD on a road trip and have the navigation running in the background?

What's the part about having the nav unit reprogrammed as people mentioned above or in other threads?

Not to sound over dramatic or anything, but the inability to watch DVD's while on a road-trip and maintaining GPS coverage is probably a deal-breaker for me. I see myself installing a Pioneer AVIC instead of opting for the OEM system.

Well I installed my lockpick and added a backup cam yesterday. Install went pretty good...air bag was a bit of a hassle. Everything seems to work but I need to play with it some more. Got a video to play in motion and address input in motion also. Also the cam works as advertized, switched automatically in reverse and I can turn it on at any time with the media button on the steering wheel.

No spare parts left over and the display is right side up!

I originally contacted them back in March and they did not have anything then. Could not get any info from them about if or when they would have something so I kinda gave up on them.

The Coastal Sync lockpick is working great, no issues to report.

Does anyone know if Lockpic allows you to check sports scores and other Sirius blocked features while moving? Coastal tech was unable to answer that question. Thanks!

I just tried this and it looks like it works. I pulled up some NHL scores and it gives them to you and then it blanks the screen and tells you it's blocked. Then I hit the radio power button twice and the scores come back and stay back so it looks good for you I would say.

Thinking about this some more I think I need to try it with a basket ball game or something to make sure the scores are updating.

UPDATE......

" DVD viewing does not affecting navigation and routing!!"

Time to order this.... you can also add a second camera by ordering the extra harness

Does this mean you can set a route then watch DVD while continuing your route? Will your directions play over the DVD audio?

The video says the prompts will continue in the background while a dvd is playing. Id say it is the same as if you were just listening to the radio.
