The ultimate lockpick (with extra inputs for external A/V and additional cam input) is still not available. However the basic (gives you dvd/nav in motion) is. It is the cheaper of the two, and if you can live without the A/V input feature, get the basic, its available now. Yes I do have a tracking number with USPS. Again I called one more time today to confirm that it is for the HDD Sync, they assured me it is.

Okay, so when I saw that jlcook83 had been giving a shipping #, I went ahead and pre-ordered the unit as well. I got a call this morning telling me that the Ultimate Sync Lockpick (HDD based) was still under pre-order and would be so for another 2 months, but that the basic Lockpick was ready and shipping. Offered to refund me the $80 difference and send me the basic version out in the mail today. I took him up on the offer.

Should have it here by early next week since I paid for 3 day shipping (have a trip coming up, would be nice to have). I'll let everyone know how easy the install is and how well it works.

I decided to forgo the Ultimate version, because the only reason I wanted it was to add a front facing camera for parking front in. I came to the decision that I would want the camera to look clean, and could not figure out how I would mount it on the front, and also figured it would be expensive to have done right. Figured I would never end up installing the camera because of this, so I went with the basic which has pretty much all the other features.

If you don't need a 2nd camera and don't need to connect secondary A/V connections (dvd player, gaming system, etc...), get the basic version.

FYI - Their web page now says available for the harddrive based sync lockpick and no mention of anything called "Ultimate". It does say that they have a video cable adapter avail. if you want to add a cam. I called to try and get some clarification but ring ring ring...........

Must have taken the Columbus Day holiday. If I'm not mistaken, there is another company that makes the by-pass, but it costs more.

I wonder if they decided not to offer the Ultimate package any longer. At least it shows a demo video clip on a F-150!
