Did you guys ever get the climate issue resolved? I am having an issue, not sure if it is related to the lockpick or not. I installed my lockpick in early May. This week I was playing around with Sync and decided to run a Vehicle Health Report. I keep getting the error Vehicle Health Report cannot be submitted at this time. I have setup this service on syncmyride and had run the VHR successfully several months ago. Can someone give it a try and see if it works for you?

I hated it on my 09 Escape so I haven't bothered. The dealer just keeps sending me coupons and haggle letters more often and I do my own maintenance. I can't say I've had any issues.

Did you install the latest July 2010 update?

 

I do have the latest July 2010 lockpick update. The only way to know for sure if it is the lockpick causing the problem is to completely uninstall it. I don't want to tear everything apart again. Using the VHR is not a big deal. Just one of those things that bug me. It should work, bit it doesn't. Maybe someone else has it set up and will try.

Well this thread died, and I was just curious to see if anyone was running it, and having success, I plan to get this shortly for my FX4

 

The lockpick does work well. I am not sure if it unlocks everything. So far dvd, backup camera, nav and phone book are unlocked. Nav only allows 60 sec to enter an address. Plenty of time.
I noticed when trying to pair a new phone to sync, it would not complete the process. No notice popped up saying i had to stop. I just assume it is still locked. No big deal. Probably better anyway since there is little time allowed to enter the pairing code.
Overall it is a great mod. Just wish it was built in from the factory.

I have been looking to see if there is an update to sync for my 2010 SCREW Lariat as I think sync performs rather poorly. Just yesterday I said "PHONE" and it comes back with "SIRIUS". I wasn't talking with my mouth full or anything

I don't need the DVD to play while I drive but I would love to be able to change the way the system works. For example when I back my truck into the garage I have less than a foot between the front bumper and the garage door when it closes. I have an Undercover on the bed which I love but in order to get into it i have to pull the truck out. After I am done in the back and simply want to see the backup cam feed I have to wait for the Sony BS to go away and Good Afternoon etc. Ten seconds before I can see if I am to the wall/shelving yet. I really don't care that Sony made it or need it to wish me a good afternoon, I just want it to work NOW.

When I bought my truck, an employee at the Ford dealership told me the truck would read text messages from my iphone. It sounded like a nice feature but it doesn't work. The Nav is utterly crap unless you have the actual address. On my $99 Garmin I can input Walmart and see them all within so may miles but this unit is totally unfriendly in my opinion.

Today I tried 3 different browsers on two computers to try to download from the GET UPDATES button under Update and Customize on syncmyride.com but the download always fails. I checked months ago and there was nothing to download but at least it went thru the motions and checked. Maybe their site is having a problem today?
