A few more questions. It looks like the wiring harness has a lot of slack. Did you just wire tie the slack to keep the plastic connectors from rattling? What about the lockpick module? Where did you mount it and how did you secure it? I'm thinking about putting the usb cable in the glove box to update the lockpick. Do our trucks have the second USB port? I've seen where people are adding the cable to make this extra port accessible. If so, I may put mine in the center console.

Thanks

the only problem i have till now is I cant activate the input Nav to be on all the time ...wondering if its even possible
Possessed007, If you press and hold the left side of the steering wheel media button do you get the backup cam to display with your version of F/W?

I didnt pay attention wut my installer did with the slack...but i know the unit itself he put it behidn the panel that pops out passenger side on console...but if u get a usb cable i would run the cable in glovebox or top center speaker....

abotu the second usb yes it works fine i did it i have it in my handrest ..i plug my ipod and put it in the sleeve that under the handrest.

I installed my lockpick today. I went ahead and installed the USB2 in the console as well while I had everything disassembled. It took me about 3 hours. I didn't rush any and disconnected the battery for 15 minutes as suggested. I installed the latest flash right after the install was complete. I am very happy. It unlocks all the features. While I'm driving the passenger can be watching a DVD, I can then switch to the backup camera, then input a destination on the nav, switch back to the DVD (still playing) and then the voice prompts to my destination play in the background. I definitely recommend the lockpick. You will need to purchase the USB cable to do the firmware updates. The instructions say it is included, but it was not. I ordered mine from Sonic Electronix and paid 229.00 no tax and free shipping. It shipped out the same day I ordered it.

I finally did the update yesterday....everything went smooth...A/C controls were working until at a certain point the problem happened again...

I shut down vehicle restarted and the A/C controls were working again on screen...I was told by them that the problem was fixed but it seems its still there...now I will try to see when does it happen...if anybody else experiences this please advise.

Can you still control the A/C with the buttons(not using the touch screen)? I have not seen this issue. Hopefully I will not. Is you update version 1.7?

Thanks
