Wow thats a great deal!! How long is the rebate going on for?

It looks like you are about in the same place as me. I have a set of Rancho quicklifts setting in my garage waiting to be installed along with UCA, CVA axles, actuators, rotors, brakes, sway bar links, etc. I will pretty much have a new front end when I am done.

My tuck just clocked over 100,000 miles so it was time to replace some things. I already did the plugs and have had the tranny fluid exchanged so Idon't have to worry about that. It is also time for tires but I am going to get the front end out of the way first.

Sounds like a good update for yours! I need to do plugs, my truck is actually starting to tell me that at 112k miles. Sitting at an idle for a few minutes the other night talking to a lady friend, we both noticed the trucks rpm fluctuated greatly by the sound of the exhaust. I looked at the rpms and its anywhere from 560 - 720. Its usually never past 650. Low grade misfire in the making must be. Next is noticing the trans jerking some and a little hesitation. I've already started prepping for the plug job though!

Same here, I want an updated front before running $1600 tires on it. Just hoping they will last.

Thanks Brent! Nitto Trail Grappler in 295/60-20. Should be 34.25x12 on the truck, 6lbs more per tire than the 33x12.5/20 Toyos. Should be alright without a re-gear for now.

Dang, I didn't realize they made heavier tires than the Toyo's.. Mine are a load to handle as it is! lol I like the trail grapplers though, will be my second choice of tires when the time comes. At the rate I drive my pickup right now it will probably be a few years before I need tires.

Its mostly just the size increase. I'm going from 33x12.5 to a 34.5x12 size. The 33s are almost 31.90 on the truck right now . Like a 32.10x12.6. I can't imagine a 35 or a 37 on stock gears. If the Toyo M/T was available in 295/60-20 i'd go with it again. I have 50,000 miles on these tires in the course of 4yrs. Yours will dry rot before you hit those miles! What a great M/T.

Time to revive a thread from the dead .

A little has happened over the past few months. More buying parts in preparation than anything though.

I finally installed the Rancho Quiklifts back in May. Got about 2" of level from top fender well to ground. It is only 05" lower up front than the rear so I am happy.

Before,

After,

I bought tires. I originally bought 35x12.5/20 at a 4wd show for $1,480. I measured and they were truly 13"s wide and much too wide for my wheels offset, would have rubbed. So I took them back ( Jack Williams Tire Co ) and they agreed to trade me straight up for the 295/60-R20 Trail Grapplers I originally wanted. So I got the Trail Graps almost $200 off!

Now I need to order lower ball joints, and I can tear it down, replace them ( and put in Moog UCAs ), throw it all back together, get the new tires on, and go get an alignment.

Changed out the leaky rear pinion seal. What a PITA it was to get that seal out. The driveshaft bolts, and the large nut under the shaft were nothing.

A picture, hows that right rear tire looking? Lol!

I also scored a pre-owned Bedrug off Craigslist for $120. Called Bedrug and ordered a velcro/adhesive kit for $38.

Bought a Dorman exhaust manifold off Summit Racing along with a stud kit. I wanted to do longtubes but the money isn't there. And I want to get up to a 5.0L truck in a couple years anyways. But for now, I hate hearing this...

Should be able to get it in a couple weeks from now. I want to buy the tint for my car first while hot weather is still here. Other than that, I've driven it a bit and am still preparing myself mentally for the spark plug job.

Last week I did a detail and dressed it up good in hyperdressing on all plastics, and frame/wheel wells. Was nice seeing it like this again, reminds me of just how good she looks.

Thanks again bud! I've ran the Techron in a few tanks, I am hoping it does well. Back in spring I ran it every other tank . Now I have ran quite a few regular tanks. Next I will run it below a quarter and run a few techron tanks back to back and get the plugs done this fall. I have been running 89 octane also, custom tuned for it. I see a lot more soot on my exhaust tips lately, so I hope that is a sign that it is cleaning.

Jeez, that sound would annoy the hell out of me! I thought the ticking my LT's make was bad . . .

On a different note, the truck looks AWESOME. Definitely still very jealous. Reminds me of why I searched for a black truck for so long - and bought a white one haha

Hiiden tips, not so sure about that. I wanted to switch to a full SI/SO with a Corsa tip, still up in the air about that one or not.
