Scubadivur,

Those class action law suits only makes the lawyers involved with the case rich. The rest of us only get pennies on the dollar if settled in our favor. I think the right thing to do is work with your dealer and if you are not satisfied with the results use the DSB or your States Lemon Law.

Thanks Ron,

I am at a loss. I can see I am about to have to educate myself.

Scubadivur,

There are plenty of us that went through this and there are plenty of us that are willing to help out.

Labrador that posts here helped me alot with information regarding the DSB process and can't thank him enough.

If you need some help feel free to give me a shout.

How many of these trucks got the problem a while after it was new, and not right in the begining. If so, it may be a wear and tear thhing possibly, like Tires, or wha about the CHEAP AZZ SHOCKS THEY PROVIDE made in MEXICO. These are crap and my tires bounce like basketballs when I hit a bump.

Unhappy Vibration

I have had my 04 Screw for 1 month now. 1400 miles on it, at first it was a slite vibration after 40 mph. Now I have a vibration after 30mph and it gets worse up to 60 then faids. My brand new truck is in the shop as I type and they are replacing the entire rear end. I did have some clunking around 45mph going up a hill and softly touching the gas. Don't know if that has anything to do with it . but it only increases my frustration. Any updates with fixes on this problem??

Dennis,

They put two other brands of tires on my truck, road force balanced my tires twice, replaced drive shaft twice, replaced entire rear end, adjusted angle of driveshafts mutiple times, and installed the worthless dampner. After all of this the truck still had a vibration. DSB awarded me a buy back just last week.,

Ron,
I am happy for you. It has to be something beng overlooked. SHOCKS? Has anyone replaced them yet with lift kit shocks etc, and is the problem gone. the reason I say this years ago I had a truck with a ot of vibration and it got worse with time. It came down to shocks. I replaced them with good ones and the vibration went away. Just some ideas that's all

Unhappy shakin

Hi people,I'm new here and have been monatoring your imputs on the vibration problems. I bought my truck inNova Scotia Canada, (f150-4x4 stx reg cab flairside)and it works flawlesly--SO FAR.I am wondering if most of the problems effect only the lsd trucks. i have spoken to several owners of the trucks in my hometown and have only heard of some problems with the fx4 packages. very best!!

Progress Maybe?

After I was told by the service writer that my vibration was normal for all terrain tires I decided to meet with the service manager. Monday the service manager and I are going for a spin in my truck so he can witness the vibration. After that he mentioned driving a new truck on the lot, and if it doesn't vibrate, he would swap those tires and rims with mine to see if that works. Im sure it won't but its worth a try. Progress maybe

pawj112,

Good luck but I doubt you will get off that easy. Let us know if by some miracle it fixes it. I'll be there is PALongbow soon I think. I've got 2 repair attempts left in me before DSB.

How do you contact DSB. Is it the same as the Ford customer service number?

Contact dealer for it or Ford's Customer Assistance Center 800-392-3673 to register a complaint. If they cannot resolve it, ask for an arbitration package for the Dispute Settlement Board.

I got that from the Auto Safety website.

Thanks Ron,

I may contact you int the near future.

I had ANOTHER long discussion with my dealer 2 days ago. He assures me of a fix that he's been promised within the next few days. BUT, he mentioned new dampners! He lost me there, and I quoted that I have been on the f150 online forum. I let him know that I was familiar with the TSB's, that stumped him for a minute. Need I say more?

When I asked for Lemon Law Info and DSB paperwork he pleaded for me to give them time to work out the problem.

I asked him, "what would you do?"

Thanks,

Dennis

I was wondering if anyone that bought a standard cab had any Vibration problems, mine drives smooth as glass and being a standard cab may have something to do with it... just curious
