Been busy but got a couple of things done to the truck. Finished taking off the grime on the door, love the moldings being off and fx4 decal. Also finished the tail lights.. I want to buy the tailgate lightbar because my rear lights are rather dark. Rather be safer than sorry. Anyone have sites to recommend to buy it from for a good price? Seen these two, first site has bad reviews.. Also tell me what you think, heres couple of pics

Damn you went dark on those tails. Go with the Recon. The $10 more for a name brand is worth it so you don't risk the chance of getting non-working LEDs. Good to hear you got all the grime off

Yea, i didn't realize they would be so dark. I was hoping it wouldnt be that dark. I may end up redoing them some day. I want the bar though, so go with the recon from costco? Any other places you recommend?

yea, i can't wait to have it painted. I went with oxford white because they didn't have any of my touch up paint (pastel white) at any of the stores. My door didn't list the paint code, just same letter as pastel, hope it looks about right. I can hardly see it. Not that well, i will take some pictures tonight when its dark to see how it works at night time. Hopefully good but who knows. I should redo them to make it look cleaner, but it took forever. Have other things rather get done first

It looks clean but I would think light output would be pretty bad with that dark. I didn't know they made seperate whites. I thought it was always Oxford White for our body style f150s

Yea. It's not too bright. At night it's ok. Think led bulbs would help? And maybe I just have some weird touch up paint

Yep, - it's Oxford White. That's the only white Ford had on the F150 when I picked my color.

I just blacked out my lights a week or two ago I put on the light bar from jcwhitney it looks good and secures well to the metal, I just added some rtv to the ends to seal them better from moisture. I tried to hard wire it with splices but the factory wire was too thick to tap into so you will probably have to use wire nuts or a buy 4 3-way connectors to hard wire it in. I've seen mixed results for both but i'm a broke *** college grad so I went with the cheaper of the two lol I'll Try to post up pics up if you want later tonight
