hah, well getting the bulbs out of the old headlights is being the biggest pain, might have to buy a new set of HIDs, pretty sure mine are toasted on the one side my friend did but who knows, maybe they're not

on step 4 on

https://www.f150online.com/forums/ar...lle-paint.html

That star bolt doesnt go into anything, did anyone else with black lightning heads have this problem? Makes me kinda worried, they wont fall out while driving will they?

I can post some more pictures tomorrow but time for work, heres what got done today, honeycomb painted, top of bumper painted, new headlights corner lights.. While I didn't do the best job, it works for now

Thanks guys! I really am wanting a hood on there. That hood looks wicked. Just gotta wait on things like those though. For paint. I followed the write up that I linked on page one with the trim paint and adhesion promotor. Also added a clear coat to it.

As for the top pad I used dupli color paint match (something like that) the oxford white kind. Plastic primer. Adhesion promotor. Dupli color clear coat. And I think that's all. I can check in the morning

now to paint my fender flares.

On your lightning heads since they don't bold in do you get worried they will fall out? Are the fender flares the same technique as the bumper pad? I am hoping my next days off I'll do those and redo my tail lights. Anyone put LEDs in their tails? If so what did you go with and was it worth doing? Hopefully I'll have new badges next week sometime. Only thing I'm not sure what to do about is my side badges with the xlt in red. Ruins my combo

The valence is where the fogs are? Anyone have pics of that done in white? Would it look silly with the chrome?

Hm, that doesnt look that bad actually, I guess i will have to think on it, probably wait until i have some more cash flow, even though it doesnt cost much, i just been using too much money lately.

cost like $15 maybe.
you should paint the rubber strip under the valence white also. he left his black and it looks out of place.
