I've seen mixed results for both but i'm a broke *** college grad so I went with the cheaper of the two lol I'll Try to post up pics up if you want later tonight
Would love to see the pics!

And I am a broke *** college undergrad myself! All my cash is going to the truck lol. Yesterday ordered the bar from Costco, but good to hear what you did so I am better prepared for it. If you could show a pic of where it plugs in etc that'd be way informational for me too!

Do you like it on there? And Sorry for the silly question but what is RTV? I am assuming from the description it reinforces the seals. Is that something you use on headlights as well? My Black lightning beads should be coming in any day and I figured I would make sure they were sealed nice and tight.

Thanks much man, you selling your tail lights actually inspired me to paint mine. Although mine came out really dark, I love the over all look. Down the road when i get down to having little to do to the truck I plan on redoing them. I did a half assed job, first time using spray on something so was a learning experience. When I help 01screw20 on his, I will have a better idea for next time

Yeah I actually like it a lot since I hooked it up, kind of was against getting one but I don't wanna get rear ended and someone saying they couldn't see my lights. I just have it hooked into my trailer hookup for now and rtv is just silicone sealant. I'll post some pics up when I get a chance

I think it looks kind of good, I like things that light up.

In some ways I want to get the mirrors that have turn signals on them as well. I have many other priorities though

So I'm going to redo my tail lights. I want them visable. I was thinking of just doing two coats. Also, what's best way to get off the clear coat etc. Rubbing alcohol and a scratch pad?

Alright I'll do that. Imagine it takes a bit. Kind of wish I had a black to sand with. Would make it tad easier. Think two coats of night shades would be enough?

Should be..I did three light coats and mine came out pretty good. Wet sanding with 600 grit doesn't take too long to get the color off.I kind of used this as a reference
