our body style lights seem to seal pretty well actually, even most of the aftermarket ones (exception being the 1-piece projectors).

interesting, so should i not worry about sealing them even more?

I am currently at this part

Trying figure out how the headlights come off, havent looked much at them yet because just got the grill off..

If I have HIDs should i get rid of the middle thing on the l heads? The reflector thing infront of the bulb

Not sure about the projectors but you didn't have to pull your grill off, the headlights have pull tabs on them takes about 10 min to change them out for future reference. I have those heads and they are sealed good no need to add more imo

Yeah just pull the tabs up and wiggle the lights out, you can see on the new ones where the tab locks them down

Leave that shroud on there. Your light output would look horrible without it ha.

Behind the headlights there will be two thin black metal bars that have a 90deg bend at the top. Pull those straight up to release the headlights.

youll have to pull pretty hard sometimes. it shouldnt break tho. if you didnt hear a loud pop and bust your knuckles on something its probably not all the way off lol.

try pulling up and pushing the tab away from you at the same time if that makes sense
