Didn't decide to wait.

Think it looks a lot more slick without it. I am having a huge pita still with that double sided tape where the side moldings are. You guys mentioned orange goo gone spray. At autozone this is the only thing they had. Should I check nampa, kneckts?

Should have it a walmart or somewhere else like that, I sprayed alot on while I was doing it. It does take a while to get it all off, a 6 pack made it easier lol

Unfortunately walmart is like a 30 minute drive from my town unless I wait until this weekend. Heading to the 'rents house and they live near a walmart.

It was getting hot so I decided to come back in for now until I find a better solution. 6 pack be nice but work tonight and had plenty last night

What did u rub it off with? Like you sprayed and use what to take it off?

No I used WD40 for a bit when taking mine off. Eventually just used a hairdryer to heat it all up and then pulled it piece by piece. Took me like 2 hours cuz I tried everything to take it off before using the hairdryer

you just pulled the double sided tape off? I sawed through it with the fishing line rather easily but going to wait until it heats up a little outside before i spend more time trying to take off whats remaining.

The double sided tape becomes really gummy when you heat it up so you can pull up on the corner and kind of roll it into a ball as you move down the side if you get what I mean. After the tape was off I used wd40 to get the actual tape residue off

man, last night i did the saw off technique with that one panel. Left a ton of residue left over. Today i got enough until i could grip it then pulled it off, left a small amount of residue. Especially compared to yesterday. Going to let it heat up and buy some wd 40 and try get as much as i can before i apply some

Ya I sawed off a corner til I could pull it off. Worked pretty well. It was a pain but it looks a lot cleaner without it

Finally threw in the towel for the night. Got a majority of everything off of there but still some left. The rubbing alcohol is helping but the pads i had to use on it arent doing too well. Anyone have recomendations on there? Time for work or I would bust it out

on a bright note, she looks good without the runningboards, door molding and rear decal!

looks good man! keep at it. if thats just dirt in the paint, i used some polish with a dual action polisher to get it off.

dont forget to wax the areas that you cleaned with the chemicals.
