Just traded '97 Scab, 5.4, 147,000 miles for '06 Scab 5.4. Only problems on '97 were cracked vaccum hose (130k), sticky pass. power window and multifunction switch acting persnickity (right turn signal).

That's it!

108K with no engine problems. Battery, brakes and shocks have been replaced, AC compressor clutch died but no engine troubles yet.

I have a 2001 f150 SCrew 4X4 with 140,000.
I have never had any problems with it until today. #2 cylinder is misfiring. How hard is it to get to the plugs and wires?

126,000 miles on my '99 F150 and no troubles at all. just a tune up at 125,000 miles. i have a 95 explorer, 6 cylinder, with 230,000 miles and it runs like a top...no engine work done to it at all aside from tuneups. doesnt burn any oil and has had nothing but Mobil 1 and motorcraft filters in it since its first oil change.

'97 4.6L 4X4 280,000 No engine problems.
Heater core clogged, just replaced.
Rear axle seal and RF wheel hub replaced @ 200K
Rebuilt front end @200K all bushings shot.

Still looks good, I guess I'll keep it for now.

That's a lot of miles on your 4.6L. I have a 97 4.6 also and am nearing 204,000. I've never had any engine troubles. Had an annoying missfire at 45mph, but after replacing plugs and wires it has run like a champ the whole time.
