Cool. I have a 53 *****'s wagon.

Question... you still getting 23MPG highway? What do you get around town?

My 99 F-150 just ate ANOTHER 5.4 and I think I like the V10 option better.

are you or anyone else having trouble getting your v10 enough fuel? i hooked a fuel pressure gauge up to it and im getting about 30-35 psi at idle but it doesnt increase with throttle movement in the upper rpm, it just decreases down to about 28 psi

How much fuel pressure do you think you need to run that thing?

My truck runs on 32 to 35 PSI and I think I'm making a little more power then your V10.

The only downfall about the V10 is crank flex. Good stock, but you really can't build them. Definitely cool in the 150; - all that torque

fuel pressure should be the same, its basically the same motor. Your droping of fuel pressure is not good though. Time to change/clean the fuel systme (filter/pump)

As far as mileage, I just took the puppy on another 1100 mile trip from CA to CO and it did great again. The mileage was just about the same, but I ran into some more snow so it was a little lower. in town I'm looking around 17 or so. I love it, and being that the motor is stock, i know its realiable and cheap.....no worries of breaking it. Might do a little more to it, but not until the 52 ****** is done.

I just picked up a 81 full size K20 and am going to do a complete frame swap on it.

anywho, good luck and if i can help anyone with a swap let me know

oh yeah, got my new v10 emblems, and am going to be working those into the OE badging.

I don't suppose you noted what speed sensor wires ended up where? I have the same issue in my 99 5.4 to 2000 6.8 SD swap. I have tried various combinations of repinning the speed sensor wires to the ECU with no luck.
