just a question, when driving, why would your odometer go to lines, and your overdrive on/off light begin to flash.

I'd guess i have a transmission controller error once overdrive is reached. What do you all think

anyways, we'll see about the video. My daughters B-day is tommorrow, and were headed off to Disneyland in the morning.

I did however order one of these puppies, we'll have to see how it works with my phone.

Did you get your misfire figured out?

Not yet, going to check codes with the above device and troubleshoot that way. My engine has no egr but my computer may. There may be other sensors that may have similar issues. Either way I won't know until I can tell what the computer is doing.

This little bluetooth OBDII reader is amazing. As it appears, no misfire, just missing an intake air temp sensor, and the VSS is in the wrong spot. Other than that, I did all of the wiring correct, and everything so far was easy. I will be working on the wiring so that i can post up some info/diagrams for anyone wanting to attempt this. So far, its been just about one of the easiest swaps i've done.

Things left to do.

Tidy up wiring
Finish Electric Fan wiring/Testing
Install Transmission Dipstick tube
Install Intake Temp Sensor
Wire up VSS
FINISH WITH EXHAUST!!!!

I'm going with a dual exit setup in front of either rear tire. Any good muffler choices. Probably 40 series Flomasters

Sadly you cant do the exit in front of both tires, you can only do one and its the passenger side if I remember correctly, the side opposite of the gas tank

Ordinarily you are correct in this, but I did see a guy with a Lightning a few years back that ran exhaust on both sides in front of the rear tires. The gas tank was in the way, but somehow he ran the exhaust on the outside of the frame and the body skirts hid it. The danger of that setup was if he was filling up his tank, the hot exhaust was close by.

Why not each side behind the tires? That's easy.

Getting a lean condition on both banks of the engine. Don't know what that's all about. Got the iat sensor hooked up and this thing runs great. I need to solve the vss problem but everything seems to run great. The Bluetooth obd reader is almost a must. This thing is freaking awesome.
