I get the best MPG (17-18) at 85mph, a few others have said the same thing. Only theroy I have is that an air dam builds up in front of the truck and rounds off the nose some. Otherwise I'm pretty consistant at 16.75 mpg (+/- .15) @ 75-80 mph.

I'm hoping for a little better with the new spark plugs I just installed. I'm getting ready to go to town now and fill up, and I'll have priliminary data by Wednesday when I have to fill up again.

You can speculate all you want at what you have at the flywheel, you will never know unless you put the motor on a dyno. You are getting good fuel mileage because you are running lean as hell! Richen it up and you'll kiss the fuel economy bye bye. Danoids truck is a L. But the point remains. You aren't maxing out the injectors. You do know you can datalog for this correct? Don't assume that since you richened up the fuel on your programmer and you didn't see any results that the injectors are maxed. If they were to be close you would start trending lean towards the end of the run, not the beginning.

Very nice, A/F ratios looking better, might want to fix that lean WOT open throttle condition though. Awesome looking and performing truck, I'm jealous.

Yeah it needs fixed bad, that is dangerously lean, i bet you that i would have a vented block if it weren't a built engine... anyway, my tuner told me that he has no idea why its so lean, he gave it a bunch of fuel. :| thanks for the help.
