That's pretty impressive, for a truck to have double (or more) the HP than stock and only need a tranny rebuild. Sorry I thought you had the rear drive shaft swapped out too.

if you ever get rid of it, I'm sure you'd have quite the bidding war going just from guys on this site! Although I think you'd be crazy to!

with all the other upgrades you've done, it would still be a pretty kick-*** truck!

Any Ideas on what you're going to do next? Have you upgraded your fuel lines and such?

Honest question here guys.... would the 6 speed tranny for the superduty bolt up to my engine? I can handle the fabrication of the linkage and all that for the clutch but would it hold up? Im sick sick sick of my tranny problems.

YES it will bolt up...

the 6 speed's are holding up behind the powerstrokes with mods, just beware of OD and you'll be just fine

nevermind that with the 5 speed ZF trannies, I tore up the syncros and pulled OD out of mine behind the V-10 but it was dragging really heavy leads which you won't be doing in your truck. the sand rail you own wouldn't be anything to a ZF 6 speed

you could always use the terminator cobra bell housing and the viper 6 speed, if you need the low end grunt you can always shift into low range

built have you thought about the torqueshift 5spd auto in the newer superduties? so far they have been better than the 4R100 and E40D. they had a 6spd torqueshift auto behind some of the early 6.0l diesels too.

yeah, my uncle has a 6 speed in his F-350 and it's insane what he does to that truck and the 6 speed seems to be holding up fine even with all the add ons
