Project GO FAST is now in progress!!!
Well , usually when Joey races someone - it's all his truck. That's purdy much all you hear. In the first vid posted from the inside of Joey's truck, I didn't here the blower ?? Yea, I was curious why that was, -for a minute there..

Just go to plumbing section and get yourself a good one ? Their 3/4" on the 5four. - or 19mm to be exact.
well i found a plastic one...will that melt??
Definitely...
Nope. - Just use the washer inside as well or it will probably fall off
It won't melt, I just don't trust the plastic ones over the Aluminum. The Aluminum ones that I have are deeper caps and aluminum threads of course.

Other than cleaning up the engine bay..........
A quote from an SCT tech:
"Most likely it will not pass an IM test. The EGR is there to reduce your Oxides of nitrogen. This is mainly produced during cruising RPM, and light load. The IM240 test is designed to instigate situations such as this. This is also assuming that they do not plug in and check to see if the monitors are passing. If you have shut off that system. the computer will tell them that it has not passed (because it never ran the test). Shutting off the system will keep the system from functioning, and keep it from setting the CEL, but that is why they run the tests.
As a side note, I would recommend leaving the EGR in place. You will not see a noticeable power gain by removing the EGR. The valve is closed at WOT anyway, and the temperature difference is minimal. You will, however notice a reduction in fuel economy with it disabled."

My Bad, I wasn't paying that close of attention, I thought maybe you were doing something crazy like trying to put the plastic on the header.....please don't do that!
dude go to lows.. get a piece of aluminum and drill two holes in it. thats what i did
my gas mileage and performance went up when i got rid of my EGR. less gunk in the intake to robbing air flow and performance!
