Answer that one if you know soooooo much- you have no idea what I know , yet..

I use MegaMOVIE VX - SonyCyberShot 5.1 mega-pixels. I guess Canon has the best deal and supposedly the best Digicam out there. I'm wanting one to. It's simplicity ratings go unchallenged and it real comp friendly as well - from what I've heard , it can't be beat as far as what you get.

If you caught what my little 4.6 has in it, you would know that just in it's current state, with the minor work it's had, it would eviscerate any stocker 5.4 truck out there. And believe me, it's plenty usable, I drive it every day.
I don't need to have any idea what you know, you made it clear what you know in your response.
1.2 liters, with the same heads, and sooooo many other similarities, is worth about as much as a cup of ****. Now if that motor had more efficient heads, that could make use of that extra displacement, then maybe it might be a little more serious. Off the shelf Ford mod heads, even PI heads, aren't worth a s^^t. They are just total crap when it comes to efficiency, WHY do you think Neal can make SOOO much more power with really nothing more than ported heads, a couple cams, and some intake work??? Well, that would be because the stock heads are worth less than a $2 *****.
jbravo316,
HP is a derivative of torque at rpm. So to put it in an equation HP = (torque*rpm)÷5252. That is why you make the same hp as you do torque at 5252 rpm. So if the 5.4 will always make more torque than the 4.6. it will make more hp. But you cannot apply the math and say that the difference in torque will be a linear between the two engines. My 5.4 puts more torque to the wheels than the 4.6 develops at the crank. It is only by studying each engine's individual torque curve and calculating the HP that you will be able to answer your question. How much is a lot? 100 hp? 200 hp. And at what rpm do you want to measure the difference?

Ok guys, if you take both motors and build them the same, how much more torque is the 5.4 going to have? I am talking about 500 RWHP or more on each, using basically the same compression ratio, or boost or whatever. You understand exactly what I am saying, right? Let the experts speak on this one, cause I would really like to know what the difference is going to be.

jbravo316,
Your question was on page 31. By the time I formulated the answer and ran a few calcs on a spread sheet to back up by shìt the thread was on page 35. I thought that I had F'ed up and got the question wrong.
Boy's and girls get a grip. Say what you want but part for part or stock to stock the 5.4 will out perform the 4.6. This my truck is faster and lasts longer climbs a tree faster horse shìt is just that the testosterone talking. I had a 4.6. I beat the living crap out of it and it came back for more. But surprise! So will the 5.4. And the 5.4 will always produce larger numbers. You cannot beat the math.

PS I bet this answer is on page 50.....
