All my buds & fam who has a 150 also have the 5.4L personaly I don't know no one that would get any other truck , my buddy Rick had a dodge with a 360 -an 02 I think and he was alway in for repair - he's got the 150 now w/5.4L and will never switch - so he says. Lenny's got an 01 150 super crew and he's always trying to beat my 98 and really gets cheesed off when he can't lol - he's funny. Anyway , I bought a supercharger off ebay but never bolted her down to mine - I sold it to Lenny and before he could race me he wasted the rearend and then that 4R70W cheapy trans Ford made - his wife came unglued and his truck is still setting lol . His wife has begged me to buy bac the supercharger, I haven't yet, I dunno if I will. Maybe if she beggs a little more
I didn't use it because my trans is week. I don't want to fork it out for the monster yet - after the holidays maybe.

yeah i better like my 5.4, my current build i've got laid out is fox lake stage 2 heads, comp cams ground for some lope in the idle and low to mid range hp / torque. probably gonna take neals advice and look for 120lb valve springs with those heads. trying to find me some mahle 10.5-11 compression ratio pistons, found me some eagle rods, looking at dss main support system, taking more of neals advice here too. found a mmr oil pump, took more advice got some arp stud kits lined out. all with a custom burn on my chip :P

Hey Klitch. Who is gonna be building this motor? You having it professionally built, or you doing it yourself?

Hmmmm....

I see an opportunity presenting itself.

By stock in Logitech and come up with some very sly and exceedingly stupid things to say.

Should be a good way to get back some of the green I turned loose of today.

How are you liking the new setup?

So one of the main reasons people say they would take the 5.4 over the 4.6 is the torque increase. Ok guys, if you take both motors and build them the same, how much more torque is the 5.4 going to have? I am talking about 500 RWHP or more on each, using basically the same compression ratio, or boost or whatever. You understand exactly what I am saying, right? Let the experts speak on this one, cause I would really like to know what the difference is going to be.
