no shyt!.. by all means explain in detail which is the better supercharger and how many different types there are and o the fact that there isnt one made for my 5.4 that isnt over 5 grand.

i think i understand though. your simply using what ya got and making the most of it. thats cool

like i said, it doesnt take much to make a 4.6 faster then my stock 5.4 in my 5,400 lb truck. with its horrendous 28% driveline loss.

Too scared to run the f-150s? Thought so. I don't see that confidence in your words now. If you wan't to bring something else in the mix I could just as easily do the same, (fox body, 351) but I know what my "little" 4.6

My 5.4 gives me better mileage than the 4.6 did. I don't need to use the go pedal as much to achieve the same speed. But what do I know?

Up goes the BS flag.

There is something f-ed up with that 5.4.

There isn't one good reason on God's green earth why a 5.4 with a 150 shot would be running damn close to a flat 16. That's bulls^^t.

A stock 5.4 cut's times close to that.

On the strip, in the 12-17 second range, 100hp is more/less = to 1 second. 100 pounds = 1/10th. That truck should have been down the track in the 14's at the most.

My 4.6 ext cab cut mid 16's bone stock. You wanna tell me that a 150 shot got a 5.4 down into the high 15's? Bulls^^t.

We don't want to play that card. Because if we do, I'll play with my Stang and stomp everybody's a$$ into the ground, your 351 included.

so how is the beast doing
i've always wondered, how long does a typical purpose built race engine last?

i mean how long do you go before you tear everything down to inspect? and what wears on em?
