umm 150shot of nitrous in a truck that only weighs in at about 150lbs more more than makes up for it wouldnt u think?

ok so the 4.6 can do better in the top end... but i bought my truck to be a truck. i wanna throw some mud and this 4.6 wont do it... if you wanna race go get the 4.6 and mod the hell out of it so it acts like a rubber band?

Sounds like you need bigger gears, not just a bigger motor. Especially since you put 35's on a truck which has gears that wasn't designed for big a$$ tires.

A motor is only part of any performance equation.

HI!... Yes I have heard of the COBRA "R". And it also was a limited production vehicle with 4-valve heads. We are talking about a production 5.4-2-valve. Thanks anyway.

HI!... If it's in a F-150 and N/A you got yourself a deal. How many truck lengths do I need to give you to make it a fair race? 5, mabey 7?

4.88 gears isnt enough gear? come on man this motors a god damn sissy motor imo. no nut for the 4x4 world.
you should have really read back a few more pages to where i stated what i was running
4.6L stock, stock auto trans, stock x-fer, lockrite front and rear with 4.88 gears.
the gears alone should have given this truck enough to throw mud in 4. but it has yet to throw a nice roost except for in 2.

neal bud, i left ya another pm. having some difficulty finding the pistons i want.

Forgive me for not running back through the 14 gazillion posts in this thread to make sure of the gears you are running.
