Has anyone polished there lower intake channels ? I was going to use a worm shaft drill driver to follow the channels and a wheel attachment that takes shape of the cavity (within reason) I can get in 400 -600 grit - then a polishing bar and buffer.

I've done the TB and elbow and they turned out sweet.

The subject ? Go back and read from the beginning - it's been covered many times.

The 5.4L is SUPERIOR...

Cool

HI!... My intake manifold is not polished on the outside. That is Ceramic Coated inside and outside. The Ceramic Coating smooths out all the rough areas in the intake runners after I ported them. Just as smooth inside as the outside.

Is that pretty much standered on built motors - getting the intake ceramic coated on the inside? I'm going to do mine with a snake drive and wheel (well at least eight different ones - steps lol)

It's cool as long as the thread topic gets covered. It's not cool if it hasn't (called thread stealing).

This one's been addressed - The 5.4L freakin rules!!

I've never seen anyone ceramic coat any part of an intake before Neal.
