still dont understand how you guys claim kooks makes headers for these 5.4s? i emailed them and i got shooe'd away.

HI!... Yes they are expensive, but you have to remember they are KOOKS. They are a very well known header company. One of the best.

Give MIKE TROYER a call. He can also get the KOOKS headers. Thats who I got mine from.

my problem is im doing a lightning motor in a 4x4. i guess i need to shut my mouth and just say i have a lightning?

what is on a 4x4 they worry about and always panic to ask?

HI!... I'm not sure but I believe I read somwhere that the KOOKS L/T's won't work on a 4X4 but not sure.

Good question - you can get lightnings w/ all wheel drive..

HI!... UHHHH no. They never made a LIGHTNING with AWD. 4X2 configuration only.

what did you JUST smoke?

i think the closest thing i've ever heard to that is someone trying to fab up a front axle under a L?

HI!... Thats a SPORT-TRAC, NOT a LIGHTNING. It uses the MUSTANG COBRA's aluminum 4.6L, 4-valve, supercharged engine.

There is a lightning w/allwheel - I was standing right next to it back in 2005 at work when they were running on the track . I remember that day well - I watched a expedition go up in flames before the recall. Personally I haven't seen the SVT all wheel drive - just the lightning during testing -Ford Dearborn next to the parabolic track @ the proving grounds..

That was 2005 , you mean they were never released ? huh , i'll get more info about that tomorrow..
