Yeah , trade it in - The 4six is every as good as the 5.4L as far as reliability and longevity - it just lacks in power..

Thats pretty good to have that truck at your age so i would not worry about it.You are prob better to have a under powered truck anyway.I started on a 84 f150 when i was 16 and im 24 now,you do the math. Then moved up to 84 camaro z28 5spd when i was 17.Needless to say me and that car was not a good combo.I put it in a cornfield at about 100mph It didn't hurt except dents and i picked corn stalks out of it for couple months

LOL, Yeah I had a tire fire with my 5.4L - ended up at the boat launch down the road. I was just retiring a set of old shoes properly

That was funnier than hell , we were all drunk, pi$$ed the neighbors off royally , that cloud of smoke just hovered at a certain level then drifted lol - BUT , I bubbled the paint on the rear panel and melted my tailight wires

Cool

HI!... Ya in cases like that it's best to have the G/F take off her panties/bra and smuther the flames. Then if that doesn't work you can get out your fire hose.
