Flaresideforlife...have you looked into a shift kit?
Im with ya on the shifting...I want it so break out the back glass with your head Ill most likely end up with the firmest shifting I can get from Troyers, plus a shiftkit.

get a shift kit off ebay.. or google search on how to drill out ur stock shift plate.. i had the website but i forgot what it is.. a guy gave insructions on how to drill the shift plate to make it shift firmer.

a peice of rebar and a hammer works well.. just unbolt the exhaust drop it down and beat out the precats.. then vacume out the particles.. u can get a core charge from a scrap yard for the catlyst material in them

Did you clean the spline w/brakefluid and then put a thin coat of teflon grease on it ? That's important..
