HI!... Actually the copper head gaskets are used for two reasons. 1 there are reusable to a point, and they take tons of boost compared to regular gaskets or MLS ones. The deck surface should be dead nuts flat in either application. Cometics come in stock thickness as well............

Cometics are stronger than the factory ones.

mine will be at 500 hp at the end of this summer?? and theres plenty room for advancement

HI!... Yes there is but I was talking a stock bore/stroke 4.6L with 2-VALVE heads and low compression. It would be extremely expensive to get 500H.P N/A from that set-up.
