Oh well he makes for a good laugh on the weekends when the truck guys here hang out.

my dad bought me an 06 4.6 4x4 and im very greatful for it, im still going to lift it 6'' and put 35's on it... Im not going to be pulling anything and im not going to race it, so i could care less

I dont know why everyone argues, just be happy we all have ford trucks that are all great no matter the year, engine, looks..

Thread Resurection:

Remember this one Neal?

Do you think SlowerF150 and 1994f150XLT are related? Perhaps one in the same?

So this thread's gonna go on forever. Here's a question to stir it up again. How many times have we seen guys asking to swap out the 5.4 for the 4.6? 4.6 is great, only if you have one. Otherwise.........

BTW - I had one for nearly 11 years. Great engine. No real issues ever. Would not want one in my '04 SCrew 4X4 under any circumstances.

Why silly boy, you really think a 5.4 can bark the tires thru 1 - 2. Of course not, it only makes more hp and tq. I can't see it happening either.
HI!... Well hate to prove you wrong but watch and learn. This is on a prepped track with lot's of VHT.

I think theres a couple 4six guys that can't stand the fact that the 4six is inferior in performance compared to the 5.4L. The 4six all and all is a great motor as for reliability and longevity but, it has it's limits. These guys detest those lines that are crossed in there posts and suffer in a way. To get along one must realize the faults - it's called heightened awareness. The lack of sure is revealed every-time I read one of there posts. It's funny , but lately I'm tending to believe they really believe in what they are saying

That's a little scary

And if youve watched any of my track videos (in car cam) then youve seen my runs where i have to baby it off the line, and my thrid run i was spinning at the top of first, not chirping the tires, full out spinning....

And Jbrew, ive never once said that i thought 5.4 is a bad motor, i just think that all of the 5.4 guys get all ****y with "no replacement for displacment" But in reality stock for stock on 2vs they are dead even....

All I did is resurect a thread that was 4 pages back with "5.4 RULES" You and Fast spent the next two pages defending the 4six lol..I didn't reply much after that , just kicked back and had a good laugh..I thank Klitch for the laughs - kept it real amusing. Klitch rules... AND NEAL - Smokes you guys everytime

well me and paul (faster) have actually shown videos, told stories, shown dyno graphs etc to explain our case, and you still have no proof as to why you think "5.4 rules"
