It's an 01 F150 supercab body. There used to be one of those f100 pro-looking trucks running around here too. That's where I got the idea for it actually.

The 65 is going to be next fall's build.

Buy? Hmmm, maybe. I got a lot tied up in my current build right now, and it's the slow season in the trucking world. But, maybe.

$??,???.??
HAHA - under 100k won't get yuh this bad lad.. You could spend 200 k on one of these NEW - The residual value is where I'm gonna take a punch - I know , I could prolly get 130k for it. I paid 186k.

Yeah, I gave close to that for my loaded T2000's.

~130ish is cool. I was thinking 90-95, just considering it's basically 3 years old. The longer you sit on it, the less you'll get BTW. Buuuuuut, I have no idea what kind of condition it's in, what the maintenance history is (the actual logs), the area of operation (literally on a map..... 100k miles in Kansas is not the same as 100k in Colorado, etc.), or the kind of miles it's got on it in that area. I don't even give used trucks a second glance without that info. I'm not saying it hasn't been taken care of and babied, buy things change a lot when you start talking about buying a used rig. I buy new 99% of the time. Mostly because I am 100% sure of it's maintenance history, it's area of op., etc. and because I always buy their service plans and memberships (like FL's Excelerator Preferred Plus) to get free tows, breakdown coordinations (including arranging a re-power), etc. Plus, with just a couple failures, repair bills, and tows, the money you save buying a 2 year old truck is GONE!

When a company driver is pissed off at their company, they take it out on the truck. It's reeeeeeeeal easy to beat these trucks up too. Just having a pissy driver for the truck's previous owner grinding the gears can set you back $10k a year after you buy this ex-company rig. Usually the ONLY rigs I EVER buy used are less than a year old, privately owned (owner/op), or just too good of a deal to pass up (which happens, I bought an 04 Century last year for $35k from a company who was liquidating assets to pay a settlement... but that's what happens when they self-insure and somebody gets hurt).

I have a guy that does all of my purchasing on my rigs. You would be dealing with him actually. He's got his MBA and he's a CPA, plus he put himself through college working on rigs, which is how I met him. I use him as an adviser, accountant, and purchaser. He was working at this truck shop called "White's" here in town when I had my 03 T600 in for a 30k service.

Oh, BTW, if I ever do end up buying it........ I would pay in cash.

I would also have to get my commercial license to drive it. It's really funny, but even though I own several rigs, I can't even legally drive one and have only done so about 4 times just for fun. I even own a couple I haven't even laid eyes on personally.

Well , without gettin into to much detail actually as silly as it sounds keeping it and just letting it set could be to my advantage . If your business oriented as you must be - To put it simple - The write-off of that money hog has saved my rear that last couple years. If I do a writeup on it I'll let you know , I take care of every thing I buy or own. Hell, I have a vacuum cleaner that's about 10 years old lol.
The business takes care of the payment which has been 75% interest pays. Selling it might hurt in other areas and If I keep and send it down south it would get trashed - kinda stuck with it unless I re-work the payments with a refi and take advantage of some kind of reverse loan , Im stuck .
I don't mind as long as the bizz stays profitable enough.. Oh I'll use it here and there.
