I fire it up and take through the Taco Bell or McDonald's drive through every once in a while. People inside eating all line up along the windows to see what the hell that crazy noise is. LOL And the people working there all take turns coming to the window to ask me questions.

I used to have a sticker on the back window that said "Stang=MC2" that got a lot of notoriety and even found itself in MM&FF magazine by way of a Fast Ford Weekend down at the Texas Motorplex. It's a play of Einstein's E=MC2. So Stang equals energy. Everybody in town knows me through that car. I go to the grocery store and "Hey, aren't you that guy with the red Mustang?". hehe

I don't have any video's on my computer of it. I have some on 8mm, but I haven't got around to putting them on the computer. A guy I know up in Lubbok, you have probably heard of him, John Urist, has an Edge Stang with a 91mil on a 349 that sounds and runs almost identical (we both run within a 10th of eachother). Mine has a little more hiss with the 101mil, but that's about it. I have a vid of his I'll upload so you can have an idea what mine's like.

She don't drive that far without being on a trailer. I tow her in a trailer with the F350. The jaunts around town are just for fun, 10-15 miles max. The only other time she is under her own power is to the staging lanes, down the track, and back again.

Cam and drag radials on a light car is high 12's if you're really lucky. 13's if you're not.

There's a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig huuuuuuuge difference between running 12's and 8's. I mean, in a quarter, I would probably be done before that car hit the 330' mark. The first half track takes all the time, the rest is really fast. So if you ever run those cars side by side, it just looks absolutely ridiculous.

I'll be making the rounds next season. Ennis, Idalou, Red River (here, just outside of town 1/8th mile), and several others. They have test and tunes here, have him drive up here and run me on one of those nights. I'll warn you now though, I run high 4's on an 1/8 mile track. You're buddy's car is hopefully at least in the 8's.
