What else comes in them?
Similar to the cobra, sure. Different cams, intake, block, crank, rods, timing cover, chains, etc. Same heads though, that's pretty much the only similarity. It's called the "Intech" vs the "Triton". Standard equipment on all Navigators until the 3v came out. The very first run of Gators back in 98, some of them had 2v 5.4's just like the trucks, but those are rare.

The 99 I had was a 32v Intech, so is the 02 I have currently. My 06 is a 3v 5.4. But even though the 24v 5.4 has basically the same hp and tq as the 32, the 02 will still smoke the **** out of the 06. Seriously, the 06 is left looking stupid. I like the 02 better personally. I rarely ever drive the 06, that's the wife's toy. The 02 has active/advanced (whatever, I forget) 4x4, and has every option available except the motorized running boards which I personally CANNOT STAND! That 02 will squat and move on though. It's damn quick all things considered. But the 9mpg in the city sucks *** though. All 3 were bought new. The 99 I got in a clearence sale, early in 2000. The 02 I bought in late 01, and the 06 was in late 05. I think the 06 will be my last though. I HATE HATE HATE the look of the 07!!!!!!

I just changed my profile though. I hadn't updated it since I signed up in 03.

The're simular to the Cobra in some ways, that'a all I meant

Think the 06 could be tuned better, what's up? Fords new way of governing for average joe lol. Wonder if Ford has there own tuner availible ? seems like Ford racing would have one , vrs. third party. I haven't looked , they prolly do. I have to look into that.. Thought I seen one Ford made for the diesels.

HI!... I thought the NAVI heads and the Cobra heads were different. They are close but there are differences. All the after market head building company's always say to go with NAVI heads due to they out flow the Cobra heads.

I know there must be some difference because the gator heads are gator specific. But, I haven't seen a cobra head next to a gator head, I couldn't tell you what those differences are, I've never messed with a 4.6 DOHC personally.

From what I understand the 4.6 DOHC is made at the Romeo plant and the 5.4 is made at the Windsor plant. I expect there would be some difference just right there.

I am thinking the gator heads have a taller port. I dunno for sure. I'll call tomorrow and find out.

I am also thinking they are interchangable though.

HI!... They will bolt onto any 4.6-5.4 block but I believe your going in the right direction when you say the ports are taller on the NAVI heads. Not sure if the intake will actually bolt to eachother. I'm used to dealing with the 2-valve heads. The 4-valve stuff is new too me. If I build another 5.4 after this one, it most likely will be a 4-valve, turbo set-up.

Haha , that was actually meant for whoever wants to swap you bikes -

Why else would U swap LOL?

The CT70 is a good little hill climber - won't run out of power , just doesn't have any speed - it will flip on yuh if it doesn't loose traction first - had one when I was 3
