As far as off-roading goes, is the 5.4 still superior? Or can the 4.6 hold its own? Lets say a 6" lift and some larger tires, 34 or 35, on each. I would think that the 5.4 will obviously be superior, but how bad would the 4.6 be? Or would it?

A stock 5.4 will smoke a stock 4six...this coming from a 4six owner.
If you had something like a 4x4 Screw with 3.08's and the 275/70/17 tires, vs, say a reg. cab short box 4.6 with lil 235/70/16's and some 3.73's, the 4six COULD win....maybe.
