HI!... I've been to P/S many times to watch the supercross. Was even offered to race there once but didn't have the time. Didn't they tear the P/S down last year?

The truck in the back ground is my "83" FORD RANGER when I 1st got it back in "92". Back then it was basically a stock 280h.p 351-W.

So have I, My dads company helped with the dirt work back then, Supercross every April, Truck Pulls, Monster Trucks etc..

I don't know for sure - The Canadian Football League was in negotiations - there were going to use it. But that didn't fly , I can't remember exactly but Montreal already has a stadium they don't use , then again I heard about a proposal to build more in Canada attempting to compete with Stadiums in the states lol - could be heresay ?? Lots of rumors float around about that stuff..

The Silverdomes was on the wrecking ball list - schedueled back in Feb 2006 but from what I saw last summer it's still there lol - Hell the Palace is 5 minutes down the road. Not sure if it's still standing today. I'll look into it later.

So I'm just going to ask this, because I didnt want to read thru all 116 pages of this thread!

As far as off-roading goes, is the 5.4 still superior? Or can the 4.6 hold its own? Lets say a 6" lift and some larger tires, 34 or 35, on each. I would think that the 5.4 will obviously be superior, but how bad would the 4.6 be? Or would it?

The 5.4L holds it own stock . The 4.6 , you need quite a few extensive mods to even compete.

Not real sure where you are getting your info for the 4.6L with 3.08 not being in the "specs" for '03 models. Interestingly enough the rated towing capacity for this set up is a sad 2000 lbs.

The 05 4x4 with the 5.4L and only 11-12 mpg is also in an F250 Super Duty. I had never been much a fan of diesels but this set up is making me rethink that dislike.

If you would re-read all the pages in this thread you would find that the 4.6 is far superior due to the fact that all 5.4 owners are candy asses and therefore their trucks perform much slower because they are generally outside talking about how great the 5.4 is when they get passed by the legendary 4.6's!

rch10007 - You have a reading impairment , comprehension and common sense difficulties seek help..The 5.4L all over you dude..Re-read and refrain from making things up , it just supports your lack of knowledge..

Oh, I just wanted to make you all aware of a Home Depot Scam that I got caught up in. Make sure it doesn't happen to you! As a "heads up" for those of you who may be regular Home Depot customers. Over the last month I became a victim of a clever scam while out shopping. Simply going out to get supplies has turned out to be quite traumatic. Don't be naive enough to think it couldn't happen to you.

Here's how the scam works: Two seriously good-looking 20-21 year-old girls come over to your car as you are packing your shopping into the trunk. They both start wiping your windshield with a rag and Windex, with their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy T-shirts. It is impossible not to look. When you thank them and offer them a tip, they say "No" and instead ask you for a ride to another Home Depot or Lowe's. You agree and they get in the back seat. On the way, they start having sex with each other. Then one of them climbs over into the front seat and performs oral sex on you, while the other one steals your wallet.

I had my wallet stolen November 4th, 9th, 10th, twice on the 15th, 17th, 20th, & 24th. Also, on December 1st, 3rd, twice on the 7th, three times just yesterday and very likely again this upcoming weekend.

So please be careful!!

Off offroading is 90% driver. I have had both engines in the same truck and I can say that from my experience offroad the 4.6 can go the same places that the 5.4 can but you jmust adjust your driving accordingly. The 5.4 just makes it a lot easier. Draw your own conclusions.
