Who is in the 100,000 mile club?
06' 4x4 SCrew with 102k ... had it for 1.5 years, best truck I've ever owned. I survived my plug change this weekend broke 3 of 8 and almost broke my hands ... just not enough space in engine bays in newer trucks
I've a 135,000 and love this truck !!!! I've always change trucks every 3 years but this ones a keeper. The flair side is so good looking the truck a 4.6 is still going strong. I change a coil now and then, 2 more to go. The temp and direction console died 3000 miles ago but didn't use it anyways. Other than that FORD tough!! I drive it like I stole it.Outstanding truck!!!
145600 miles
I bought my 2002 f150 4x4 in 2005 and it had 17,700 miles on it. So 127900 miles since I bought it ... yeah I am pretty happy with it..... Just finished replacing the heater core for the second time today
thats a fun job really (insert sarcasm here).....I have been through some what iI consider to be "major" repairs on this truck and none of them were all that difficult ... just time consuming and a test of method and patience really.... Some of the things I have had to do would Not have been as easy Without all the Info or the helpful people on this site...... Im trying for the 200,000 mile club next

Mine is a 95, with 217K miles on it. 5.8L It's not flawless, a sensor issue here or there, but she fires up and runs great. And the Previous owner doesn't seem to be one for maintenance. Since I changed the oil and did a tune up right after buying it, and all of it looks to have been in that engine for quite a long time. Never seen a distrib cap with that much build up.
I have an '05 Lariat 4x4 SCrew 5.4 with 162k miles. Replaced plugs, COPs, alternator, pinion seal and bearings, and currently have an exhaust leak at the manifold that I'm putting off as long as I can. Truck runs great! All the stuff I mentioned above is very minor and are expected repairs in that amount of miles.
2004 f250
I got a new job in june of 2004 and got a new company truck in august 2004. A F250 2wheel drive automatic with a 5.4 engine. I just left my job to move out of state so someone else has taken over the truck a week ago. It had 274,000 miles on it. I never cared much for ford, but this truck never left me stranded ever, i have changed oil faithfully, done all the maintainance myself. It has the all original engine and tranny neither have been rebuilt. I have put 2 alternaters in it,never had to put a starter in it, changed the brake pads but rotors r still original, all highway miles. changed the spark plugs twice, and 2 of the coil packs. I hated to leave the truck behind for someone else. Oh and i almost forgot, i had all the front end parts changed for the first time at 249,000 miles....the guy who took the truck over told me it goes down the highway like a new truck.....this truck has changed my mind about ford for sure.......i also have a 1998 f150 that i bought a year and a half ago and it has 167,000 on it and has the 4.6 V8 with automatic tranny. i paid a whopping $650 for it from my boss....it wasnt running when i got it, it needed a fuel pump.....best $650 truck ive seen so far......
My 95 4x4 just turned to 282,000 miles but she's had a little work done. Nothing major, just smaller stuff so far., sometimes she groans and pops but mostly body noises. I'm thinking she'll make a good project for my grandson.
My 1998 5.4 XLT just hit 160,000. Still looking good! The only problem is there is a knocking noise when you put the truck into gear and also when you hit the gas petal. Anyone know what this is?
Thanks
