Who is in the 100,000 mile club?
I bought my 2000 F-150 Super Cab Flareside 4.6 auto 2WD brand new and it now has 267,000 and still runs great. I've replaced the alt.once, starter twice. the battery after nine years of service. i've never had a factory battery last that long. The 2-3 shift accumulator pistson and spring. And rebuilt the front end at about 150,000 miles. This has been the best truck ever.
hub replacement 297k miles
ok...
had to do some maintenance this past week. my passenger side hub bearing(s) was worn out (4x4) and grinding like crazy.... picked up a new unit from advance complete with ABS sensor, a set of brake pads for the front.... runs like a champ and back in action in about an hour of replacing parts at 297K + miles... maybe i will hit 300,000 before the new year...
great truck!!

I have a 1991 F-150 with 130,000 mi. on it. I change my coolant and flush the system every 2 years, regardless of mileage. I never use a flushing tee. I run a 50/50 mix of standard yellow green Prestone and distilled water. I never go more than 2 days without turning on the heater lever and allow HOT coolant to flow through the core. I do this winter and Summer regardless of the outside temperature for just a couple of minutes. I'm still running the original 20 year old core on both my truck, as well as my wife's 1991 Mustang LX.
